Take the mote out of your eye, bro

The Department of Justice has filed a statement of interest in a lawsuit by a church against a California city for refusing to allow it to feed homeless people because of zoning laws.

The federal government argues feeding people is "unquestionably religious exercise" protected by the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act.

Somewhere, the worst people in the world are deeply agitated that homeless people are worthy of feeding.

Because hunger is for bad people who sin.

It irks them like a pebble in their shoe.

Or a mote in their eye 😉
